Evening Update




Here are some changes our Designer and Programmer Mariia made in the depth of the night:

  • We had no tutorial or instructions, now our players will experience some much needed guidance 
    • Behold, you are dead! Now you will know why. 
  • The start of the game now actually works, so players can play the game. 
  • UI was added to the loose screen 
  • Our foods and poisons were too bouncy, and kept bouncing in all directions: changed all game objects with rigidbody colliders into 2D rigidbody colliders and adjusted the code to accommodate for this switch
  • Made new prefabs for poison and food so they would work with the 2D gameplay 
  • Fixed ray cast by switching over to 2D 
  • Moved player to far left, away from the center: 
    • Added a box collider on all food components and made it so that food and poison would only spawn within a certain region 
    • Control speed of which food components fall 
    • Fixed scale issues
    • Changed size of colliders for food and poison
